The Philippine hearts and Hopes Society, Inc.; Mrs. Philippines America Pageant Executive Staff and AZE Group Events and Production are thrilled to inform you of its yearly competition of Mrs. Philippines America.

A contest of beauty and brain, the pageant was debuted in March 2006 in New York when it attracted more or less 500 people during its launching and was considered the premier event for married women, organized and designed to give married Filipino American women a wholesome opportunity to gain self confidence, exposure, experience, gain friends and foster love and pride for Filipino cultural heritage.

Indeed, PHHOSO, INC., a founding organizer, envisioned the competition as a role model for the next young generation of Filipino-Americans who aspire to become a beauty queen. It is also a discovery of a whole new world which everyone think is not consistent with beauty, intelligence, poise and elegance. The stereotype that pageants are only for the young is probably the most common misconception which we are trying to refute. In addition, prizes for the winning candidate now include a cash prize, a special project of her own, trip to the Philippines, an audience with the President of the Philippines subject upon her availability, a TV appearance subject with the approval of the TV Networks and many more. The contest is also PHHOSO’S most successful long-term fundraiser in its mission to muster much needed resources for livelihood generation and assistance in the provision of basic services like health and education in one of the displaced and underserved areas in the Philippines.

The Criteria for Judging is based on 4 categories: PERSONAL INTERVIEW-25 PTS.; TALENT-25 Pts.; SPORTSWEAR-25% Pts.; GOWN-25 Pts. = 100 Points. Given all of the above, we feel privileged to invite you, join this exciting annual search. Please find enclosed 1) the official guidelines, which includes the contest rules and regulations; 2) the application form; and 3) the acceptance contract.
